Brand Rollout
Building a brand people could experience, not just recognise

They saw the potential in Alphonsus Gallery and helped us tell a much richer story around the space. We loved where it landed, so when ThreadWorks came along, working together again was an easy decision.
Sinead BoydDirector, Killultagh Estates Ltd
Killultagh Estates first approached us to help shape Alphonsus Gallery, a new serviced office concept in Belfast's Linen Quarter. The foundations were there, but the opportunity was much bigger than creating a logo or marketing brochure. Together, we explored how the development could feel less like commercial property and more like a place businesses would genuinely want to be part of. Working closely with the client, we refined the positioning, messaging and visual direction, building a brand that celebrated the creativity of the space while giving it a premium, contemporary presence. Alongside the identity, we developed a comprehensive sales brochure, marketing assets and practical brand guidelines that allowed everything to feel considered and consistent. The response gave the client confidence to come back when they began developing a second workspace in the same building. Originally working under the name Loom, we took the project back to first principles, exploring naming, narrative and positioning before landing on ThreadWorks. Inspired by Belfast's textile heritage, the name acknowledges the area's past while feeling modern, connected and entrepreneurial. From there we built a complete identity, messaging framework, brochure and brand system designed to sit comfortably alongside Alphonsus Gallery without simply repeating it. Although each brand has its own personality, they were never intended to exist in isolation. Throughout both projects we looked for opportunities to create a shared design language across typography, layout, photography and storytelling, giving Killultagh Estates the beginnings of a recognisable property portfolio rather than a collection of unrelated developments. It was about creating consistency without sacrificing character. One of the most rewarding parts of the project has been seeing that thinking translate into real-world success. Alphonsus Gallery has gone on to achieve strong occupancy, and the relationship itself continued to grow as new opportunities emerged. That trust allowed us to move beyond individual deliverables and become an ongoing creative partner, helping shape not just how these workspaces look, but how they are experienced and remembered.
